Media DNN - Sugapa Intan Jaya | One of the military units under the command of the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command HABEMA, the Task Forces of the Raider Infantry Battalion 509/Balawara Yudha Kostrad, is currently conducting mobile security at the border of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, especially in the Intan Jaya Regency, Papua Tengah Province. On Saturday, 2 November 2024, the 509 Task Forces Patrol Team secured the Wandoga Village, Sugapa District, and distributed packages of basic necessities to the residents at the patrol route.
On the orders of the 509 Task Forces Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Dian Dessiawan Setyadi, the Bilogai Post led by First Lieutenant Abdian has planned and prepared for Patrol and Distribution in the Wandoga Village. This time, the Soldiers used the time to interact and communicate with the residents to discover local developments. The presence of the Soldiers was welcomed happily by the residents who had the opportunity to meet face to face, showing the strong sense of unity and collaboration in the community.
